Organised by The People’s Charter Foundation, the weekend of Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th January saw demonstrations to back our withdrawal from the European Union in Cardiff, Nottingham and London.
First up was Nottingham, where the headline speaker was Bill Etheridge MEP
Prominent Brexiteer Martin Costello also spoke, this time about how the EU affects British jobs
Finally, local UKIP candidate Fran Loi (Who stood against arch remainer Anna Soubry last year) gave his take on the events since the Referendum
Sent to me by a friend, has the threat of the EU Army disappeared?
I have just been looking at Michelle Barnier’s speech in Berlin yesterday. Some interesting points which maybe more revealing than we ever get from the UK government and the EU ambition to grow its EU army by 2025 continue to get more extensive everyday to a St Malo Agreement made on 3rd December 1998 to have a defence force under one roof run by the EU.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
For the first time since the failure of the European Defence Community in 1954, we are witnessing an unprecedented effort to establish a Defence and Security Union. This is the roadmap we need to follow between now and 2025!
The EU says we must pay a ‘Divorce bill’ before trade talks can commence.
I say ‘pay it’ – have I been on the sauce? But there are conditions….. watch to find out more
As I predicted, the Tories are selling us out on BREXIT
Theresa May is now talking of an extended ‘transitional’ period before leaving the EU with a £20bn ‘Divorce settlement’ and continued free movement of people and jurisdiction for the ECJ (European Court of Justice – an oxymoron if ever I saw one)
This blatant betrayal left me seething as I have my say on this video – the monotone delivery is down to me trying to keep a lid on my temper!
Party Conference season is upon us and the circus unfolds.
This week, Labour have been going through their paces and the clowns have been front and centre – take a bow Clive Lewis, John McDonnell and not forgetting Diane Abbott.
Not a lot of policy on BREXIT but lots of misguided political correctness to get your teeth in to
Here’s my take….
I received the following email earlier from The Freedom Association about the EU flags being dished out at The Last Night of the Proms.
I was going to write my own piece about this but their Chief Executive, Simon Richards, puts it in to words far better than I can so it is reproduced below –
